Chicago Style Pie

Scott does not complain. Like almost ever. He could be having the worst day at work and have sprained his ankle while he walked home and you wouldn’t hear a peep. He has always been sad about one thing though… Pizza. This man lives for pizza and has always hated vegan pizzas (I don’t make him eat gluten-free, vegan pizzas because those are rough, let’s be honest). A few days ago, I figured I’d give it one more try. I mean, after all, there are so many new products available now. Whelp, I would have to say that even my non-vegan, non-gluten-free self would have loved this one! I mean I think I really knocked this one out of the park! 

*It is a little expensive, but I’ve included notes at the bottom for how to make it more economical* 

Note*: Okay, so this is expensive. Which if you’ve ordered a pizza like this out, it is too. The only thing I wouldn’t skimp on is the cheese! That Miyokos is magic! Other than that you can buy meatless crumbles and sauté them with a little garlic and Italian seasoning instead of the Beyond Meat. And you can use another dough, but Simple Mills really is the best and in my experience, you can get it a couple dollars cheaper on Amazon. I feel like this is also one of those moments where you have to just treat-yo-self!
